Core Classes

For Our Tiny Dancers

  • Dance With Me

    This introductory class is designed to bring the young dancer into the classroom with the comfort of their parent or guardian to help guide them. Children will be taught new vocabulary and understand how to follow directions.

    Ages 1-2

  • Movement Time

    This creative movement class is designed to introduce the young dancer to learning the basics of Ballet and Tumbling in a classroom setting. They will use basic motor skills to help them learn how to control their muscles.

    Ages 2-3

Combination Classes

  • Ballet / Tap

    In this combination class, students are introduced to basic ballet & tap steps and terms. This class teaches proper technique, while helping dancers understand the musicality that goes with it.

    Ages 3-4 and Ages 5-6

  • Ballet / Jazz

    In this combination class, students are introduced to basic Ballet and Jazz steps and terms. This class allows dancers the opportunity to learn proper technique in Ballet, while working on their flexibility and jumps in Jazz.

    Ages 5-6

  • Hip Hop / Acro

    In this combination class, students are introduced to basic Acro and HipHop steps and terms. This class allows dancers the opportunity to work in a safe environment and learn how to properly do basic tumbling, which also participates in the high energy environment that HipHop brings.

    Ages 7-9

Core of Dance

  • Ballet

    Students will learn Ballet terminology and technique while in this class through the use of barre work and across the floor combinations. This class will assist dancers in other classes by creating a strong foundation that can continue to be built upon as they grow up.

    Ages 7-18

  • Tap

    Students will learn and understand proper Tap technique through the use of center floor work and across the floor. The exercises done in Tap will assist in the dancer’s strength and flexibility in their ankles and knees.

    Ages 7-18

  • Jazz

    Students will learn how to properly execute kicks, leaps, and turns, through the use of flexibility training and isolations. This high energy class will give dancers the opportunity to learn proper form and alignment, while having fun.

    Ages 7-18

  • HipHop

    Students will learn rhythm and coordination in this high energy and fun class. This strength-based style will help young dancers build their stamina while encouraging their individual style.

    Ages 4-18

  • Lyrical

    Students will learn how to interpret music through the use of lyrics. Dancers will use the technique they have learned in Ballet as well as the flexibility they have gained through Jazz and combine them in this class.

    Ages 7-18

  • Acro

    Students will learn how to properly execute different acrobatic moves to help them improve in their flexibility. Using a mat, they will learn basic acrobatic moves, safely, in a structured environment. They will also work on moves that travel across the mat with basic tumbling.

    Ages 4-12
